You are visitor Nr: 176022 ![]() 28th Politzer Society Meeting is granted 24 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. |
Dear Colleagues and Friends, It is with genuine pleasure that I welcome you to the 28th Politzer Society Meeting. It is really a great honour for me and the Otology and Neurotology Society of Greece to be trusted with organizing this meeting, the largest of the Otology and Related sciences internationally.
The main theme of this meeting is “Integration of basic and translational science, diagnostic and surgical procedures in order to reach finally our goal of Good Science, Better Medicine and Best Practice”.
The presence of almost two hundred prominent otologists and skull-base surgeons from fifty six different countries as well as the attendance of approximately 700 participants, guarantees that this meeting will mark an important milestone in advancing otological research and modern treatment modalities concerning hearing and related structure problems.
We believe that the prepared scientific program will address and deliver breakthrough advances and insight in scientific and clinical research as well as in patient management and practice through an outstanding range of scientific and educational symposia, special brainstorming sessions, teaching lectures, workshops and more.
We, as organizers, tried our best to make you feel at home, surrounded by friends and colleagues and would like to cordially welcome all of you in the historical city of Athens.
Before closing, I would like to thank the people that made this Meeting possible.
First of all, my colleague and friend Nuri Ozgirgin whose support, both as a friend and as President of the Politzer Society , was and remains most valuable. Moreover, I would like to thank once more, Goldair for organizing this whole meeting and especially Margarita and Maria who worked tirelessly to arrange everything down to the smallest detail.
Finally, the person whose support, help and devotion was of decisive importance in managing to implement this effort is my wife, Christy. As most of you know, she has once more been the key-person in coordinating this meeting.
The Chairman
of the 28th Politzer Society Meeting Assoc. Prof. John E. Xenelis
